Certificates of Analysis
We test on two levels, and we keep expanding our independent testing. Every batch listed here ships with an online-verifiable certificate of analysis from a third-party lab (most commonly Janoshik). We additionally send selected batches ourselves to an independent lab (Liquilabs, Prague) for a full safety panel. What we have tested ourselves is marked as independent below; all other reports come unchanged from the manufacturer. Not every product is independently tested yet.

Two layers of testing. Full transparency on both.
Every batch ships with a manufacturer Certificate of Analysis. On top of that, we send selected batches to an independent laboratory ourselves and publish the verifiable results. Here is exactly what each layer covers.

- A high HPLC purity figure reflects organic impurities only; it is not the same as peptide content.
- Neither laboratory is ISO 17025 accredited. Reports reflect the specific batch tested.
- Independent testing is being rolled out batch by batch; not every product is independently tested yet. The verify link is shown only for batches we actually sent to the lab.
What each test checks, and how
Identity
Is the molecule actually the one on the label, and not a different or misassembled sequence?
Mass spectrometry (LC-MS): the measured mass is matched against the peptide’s theoretical mass.
Purity
What share is the target peptide, and how much are organic impurities such as truncated or oxidised sequences?
(U)HPLC with UV detection. The figure is the purity of the organic components, not the peptide content.
Content / assay
How many milligrams of peptide are actually in the vial, i.e. whether a 10 mg vial really contains 10 mg.
Quantitative UHPLC against a reference standard.
Microbial (TAMC/TYMC)
Microbial load of the sample: total aerobic count (TAMC) plus yeasts and moulds (TYMC).
Microbiological culture per USP <61> / Ph.Eur. 2.6.12.
Endotoxin
Cell-wall residues of gram-negative bacteria (lipopolysaccharides), reported in EU/mg.
LAL test (Limulus amebocyte lysate) per USP <85> / Ph.Eur. 2.6.14.
Heavy metals
Toxic elements such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury (Class I and IIA).
ICP-MS with limits per USP <232> / Ph.Eur. 2.4.20.
Method glossary▾
- UHPLC: ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography. Separates the components of a sample to measure purity and content.
- LC-MS: liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Confirms identity via the exact molecular mass.
- ICP-MS: inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Measures heavy metals down to trace levels.
- HPLC: high-performance liquid chromatography, the established standard method for purity testing.
- LAL: Limulus amebocyte lysate, the standard test for bacterial endotoxins.
- USP <61> / Ph.Eur. 2.6.12: microbial enumeration of nonsterile products.
- USP <85> / Ph.Eur. 2.6.14: test for bacterial endotoxins.
- USP <232> / Ph.Eur. 2.4.20: limits for elemental impurities (heavy metals).
- Ph.Eur.: European Pharmacopoeia, the binding collection of test procedures in the EU.

Independent Testing and Quality
Every batch we sell carries a third-party Certificate of Analysis from Janoshik Analytical, an independent laboratory. Each report covers HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity, so you can confirm both how pure the material is and that it is the compound stated on the label. We publish these CoAs on every product page and on this public Reports page before you buy, and each one carries a one-click link to verify.janoshik.com so you can confirm the result directly with the lab rather than taking our word for it.
We are now going a step further. On top of the manufacturer-commissioned Janoshik reports, we commission our own independent testing of selected batches at a separate EU laboratory, Liquilabs in Prague. This is a full safety panel: UHPLC assay and purity, identity confirmation, microbiology (USP 61), bacterial endotoxin (USP 85), and heavy metals (USP 232). It is a second, independent set of eyes on the product, run at a different lab from the one the supply chain uses.
Our commitments to you:
- Testing is per batch, not a one-off sample. Reports are tied to the batch.
- CoAs are published before purchase, so you can read them while you decide.
- Each CoA is batch and lot keyed to the vial you receive, so the report matches what is in your hand.
- A CoA is issued before the batch ships. The report date precedes dispatch.
Honest caveats:
- We do not operate our own laboratory. All testing is carried out by independent third-party labs (Janoshik and Liquilabs).
- Our own independent Liquilabs panel does not yet cover every product and every batch. We are rolling it out batch by batch and will show on each product when an independent panel is available.
- The Janoshik CoAs are issued through the supply chain rather than commissioned by us, which is why we are adding our own independent lab work on top of them.
We would rather tell you exactly what has and has not been tested than make a blanket quality claim. Where a report exists, it is on the page and it is verifiable.
For research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
