Semax + Selank
This product combines several research peptides. There are no separate studies on the blend itself; below is the published research for each component.
Components
SemaxSemax is a synthetic heptapeptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro), a stabilized analogue of the adrenocorticotropic hormone fragment ACTH(4-10) with no hormonal (corticotropic) activity. It is studied as a nootropic and neuroprotective agent, mostly in Russia, for ischemic stroke recovery, cognitive performance, optic-nerve disease, and as a way to raise brain BDNF/NGF; it is typically given intranasally.SelankSelank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro), a stabilized analogue of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin (sometimes coded TP-7), developed in Russia as an anxiolytic. It is studied mainly for generalized anxiety disorder and stress-related (asthenic) states, and in animals as an anti-anxiety agent that appears to work in part as a positive allosteric modulator of the GABA system and via the enkephalin system, reportedly without benzodiazepine-type sedation or dependence.
Study data, research use only. No established human dosing protocol.
